3 times Israeli Academy Award winner for Best Cinematography on a Dramatic Television Series for “Uri and Ella” (HOT 2017), “On The Spectrum” (YES TV 2019), and “The Cook” (YES TV 2020), Guy has over a decade of experience shooting feature films and television dramas that have won critical and popular acclaim.
“The Cook”, a 10 episode drama about an unemployed programmer turned cook, premiered at the Zurich Film Festival and reviewed as ‘visually groundbreaking’ and as the show’s ‘secret sauce’.
“On the Spectrum”, received rave reviews, with articles dedicated specifically to Guy’s work, and has won the Grand Prize at FESTIVAL SERIES MANIA 2018 in France as well as the GRAND PRIZE at SEOUL DRAMA AWARDS.
“Just for Today”, a 9 episode drama, about ex-prisoners in a rehabilitation program, aired mid 2019 on YES TV and won the Special Jury Prize at FESTIVAL SERIES MANIA 2019 and was officially selected to the TV Pilots Competition at CAMERIMAGE FESTIVAL.
Guy has recently finished his work on two new feature films and is currently working on the second season of “Uri and Ella” (HOT).
Guy also teaches his renowned Master Class - Cinematography for Directors - at Tel-Aviv University and at Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem.
